Taking on Moroni's Promise!

I have been studying the Book of Mormon in my personal studies, during lunch, and during quiet time at night. After consistently reading it everyday, I finished reading it this morning! I'd have to say to was an exciting moment. I have loved my journey of reading the Book of Mormon, because I can testify that it has brought me closer to my Savior-- it is one simple, but powerful way that I am coming to know him every day.

At the end of the Book of Mormon, there is a PROMISE. I would like to share the powerful verses today:

Moroni 10:3-5

Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts.

4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.

5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

This is just one powerful promise in the Book of Mormon that promises us that as we study, ponder, and pray throughout reading the Book of Mormon, we can KNOW with a surety that it is a true record of prophets of God, and that Jesus Christ truly is the Savior of the WORLD. Through this incredible book, we can also come to know that there are living prophets on the earth today, because Joseph Smith RESTORED the fulness of the gospel and that he translated the Book of Mormon from an ancient record to what we have today. I am grateful for this incredible book-- it has truly helped me to recognize the Lord's hand within my life.

I'd invite you to take on Moroni's promise for yourself, and as Moroni counsels--
"COME UNTO CHRIST."
"Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God." -Moroni 10:32
